Born and raised in Ft. Myers, Florida, Patricia spent her early years listening to the colorful and vivid stories spun by her mother and grandparents as they reminisced about their many adventures while working (and living) over seas.
As a teenager, she worked for her father, who was a scuba diving instructor, and it was during that time that she developed an intense love for photography. A love that she carries with her to this day and has managed to pass on to her teenage son, Jacob.
Patricia left Florida in 1989 and moved to Alabama where she opened several businesses with her husband, Bob. In May of 1996, they decided to sell everything and set out on a crazy family adventure. After spending a month on a sail boat, that refused to work correctly, they bought a motor home and headed out West. Six months later, they settled in Florida, but only for 8 months, before they headed to Pennsylvania. Where they have resided for the past 11 years.
Patricia graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, in May of 2000, with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and a certificate in International Studies, after taking classes at both the Johnstown campus and the main campus in Pittsburgh.
Her first novel, Dark Secret, is the story that finally unleashed the strong yearning inside her to put pen to paper; to tell the stories that belonged solely to the voices in her head.
Since that time, Patricia has been working on
two other novels, one titled Betrayed, and the other titled, The Viper.
Patricia continually writes short stories, children's stories, and the occasional poem or two; depending on what the muse is inclined to talk about.
Patricia's love of storytelling is ongoing, and she will be more than happy to tell the stories for the voices; as long as they are willing to talk to her.
